Bowers & Wilkins 685 S2 Theatre 5.1 Home Theater System is a complete Home Theater System comprising a versatile 685 S2 Bookshelf speaker, a compact yet powerful 686 S2 Bookshelf Speaker, Slim HTM62 S2 Center Speaker and ASW608 Subwoofer. The Bookshelf and centre channel speakers feature improved Decoupled Double Dome tweeter designs, ideal for delivering the clarity needed for dialogue. For midrange and bass drivers, Kevlar, Anti-Resonance Plugs and FST drive unit technology plus aluminium cones ensure stunning power and clarity.

685 S2 Bookshelf Speaker

The Decoupled Double Dome tweeter found in the 685 S2, and the rest of the new 600 Series, is technology taken straight from our award-winning CM10 speaker. A dual-layer design combines a thin aluminium dome for lightness and a thicker aluminium ring for rigidity – the result is absolutely stunning, with far greater clarity in the audible spectrum. Features Nautilus™ tube loading, Kevlar® brand fibre cone bass/midrange and Flowport™.

686 S2 Bookshelf Speaker

An ideal bookshelf or wall-mounted speaker, the 686 S2 is designed to fit into any space and still sound perfect. Its main driver is a 5-inch bass/midrange unit which benefits from a new 25mm voice coil which makes for a higher sensitivity speaker with bass more suited for placement near a wall. Features Nautilus™ tube loading, Kevlar® brand fibre cone bass/midrange and Flowport™.

HTM62 S2 Center Speaker

HTM62 S2 now features an improved Decoupled Double dome tweeter design, ideal for delivering the clarity needed for dialogue. The double dome delivers a more precise response while decoupling the tweeter from the main enclosure removes unwanted resonances and vibration. The result is absolutely clear. Features Nautilus™ tube loading, Kevlar® brand fibre cone bass/midrange and Flowport™.

ASW608 Subwoofer

Its long-throw 200mm driver allows the ASW608 to move the large volumes of air needed for high-quality low-frequency output, and its audiophile-standard 200W Class D amplifier keeps the unit running cool, even when the music or movie action is whipping up a storm. Features paper/Kevlar® cone drive unit and 200 Watts IDEpower® amplifier.

Note: Speaker stands are sold separately
