Home Theatre System

In today’s world everybody wants to have a Home Theatre. The cost of going to the movies has sky-rocketed plus you lose the intimacy of a small gathering. Having your own Home Theatre allows you to entertain a few friends or just simply enjoy the privacy of your own home.

Before you go out and start buying, there are a few things you need to think about. You need to know what essentials you will need to successfully set up your theater room. The size of your room will determine what size TV you need. If your room is very large you might want to consider getting a projector.

You will also need to consider what type lighting is in the room. If the room receives direct sunlight you will need to install curtains or shades that block the light. You will need to have some type lighting that will not glare nor distract from what you are viewing.

If your room has carpeting you will need to research what type sound system you will need since carpeting absorbs and muffles the sound. Probably the most popular type sound system is surround sound which gives you the effect of being right in the middle of the action.

Essential Elements

There are several factors that come into play when you are setting up your Home Theatre. It is possible that you already have several items that you will be putting into your Home Theatre. There are certain elements that are essential in any Home Theatre such as a TV or some type video display unit, a DVD player, speakers, and all of the cables needed for the connections.

If you are beginning your Home Theatre from scratch you are probably looking at spending a minimum of $1,000 on equipment alone.

If your Home Theatre requires any minor construction such as housing for the TV and providing mounts for the speakers you can expect to spend more.

When it comes to the bottom line, you have to ask yourself how much you want to put into your Home Theatre. You can spend a lot of money or you can scale down and use some of the elements you already have in your house. By starting small you will be able to add items to the room as you get the money. There are no iron-clad rules; your Home Theatre should be tailored to suit your needs.

B&W FPM4 FLAT PANEL SURROUND SPEAKER- The FPM4 uses the same KevlarÆ cone bass/midrange drivers and Nautilusô tube-loaded tweeter as the FPM5, but in a shorter enclosure that matches the height of 42-inch plasma screens, yet concedes little in bass extension. Like the FPM5 it's a 2Ω-way configuration that allows wider dispersion of sound in the midrange; essential when used horizontally as a centre speaker. B&W FPM5 FLAT PANEL SURROUND SPEAKER- Inspired by developments in flat-screen TV technology, all the speakers in the B&W FPM Series echo the forms, finishes and dimensions of plasma and LCD TV screens and offer superlative sound. With a height to match 50-inch plasma screens, the B&W FPM5 is a 2½-way speaker featuring a pair of Kevlar® cone bass/midrange drivers that flank a Nautilus™ tube-loaded tweeter. The 2½-way configuration, where one of the drivers is rolled off above 180Hz, ensures better horizontal dispersion when the speaker is used as a center channel, enabling you to hear that all-important dialogue wherever you sit.
FPM frames are available in three finishes — silver, anthracite and gloss black — to harmonize with the most popular flat panel TV frames. Also, if you’re planning on countersinking your plasma screen into the wall, you can do the same with any of the FPM models to leave just the frame protruding.

Our Price: $1,199.00 Call Now!! For a Demo 1300859935

B&W FPM6 FLAT PANEL SURROUND SPEAKER- With an enclosure height to match the height of 60-inch plasma screens, the FPM6 is the largest model in the FPM Series. Compared to the other models, its enclosure is not only longer, it's wider too, which allows the use of two larger Kevlar cone bass/midrange drivers each side of the Nautilus™ tube-loaded tweeter. Higher output level capability and greater bass extension result, but timbre matching allows complete freedom to mix different models for left and right front, center and surround if desired.

Freedom and flexibility extend to the four possible mounting options. Use the supplied wall bracket if no tilting of the speaker is needed. If it is, use an Omnimount® type 20.0 or other compatible bracket to get up to 10º of downward tilt. If using a tabletop stand for your screen, simply do the same with the speakers, using the optional table stand. Finally, there is an optional floor stand that supports the speaker at the ideal listening height.
