Swans Diva 4.2F Floorstanding Loudspeaker - The new entry-level Swan Diva 4.2 floorstanding speaker has reference class performance and the best looks in its class. The 4.2 borrows much of the same technology that makes the 6.2 such a superb loudspeaker, but with smaller bass drivers and an easier to place cabinet, it lets you fill in the very deepest bass with your subwoofer of choice. Featuring identical midrange and treble technology as the top of the line model 6.2, the 4.2 saves you hundreds. Swans even gave the 4.2 an all-bentwood cabinet, something we've never seen at this price point. This is the model for the high definition home theater or two-channel system on a budget. Dual 5.25" custom Swan-made midwoofers are combined in a parallel configuration tuned to deliver surprisingly deep bass. The dedicated 5.25" Swan Diva midrange driver fills in critical midrange frequencies for a seamless transition to the famous Swan Diva 28mm Danish-style silk dome tweeter. Components of this quality are rarely seen at this price.
As with all Swans Diva models, all four drivers are joined with a precision dividing network designed by Swans engineers, who oversee the largest laboratory in their field. The final sonic presentation is very neutral, highly dimensional, and musically satisfying.
