Details
AudioQuest Big Sur 3.5mm Mini analog interconnect is carefully crafted for exceptional flexibility and versatility, allowing you to connect various audio electronics. Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors reduce distortion, Foamed-Polyethylene insulation maintains dynamic contrasts, and a Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation effectively dissipates high-frequency noise, resulting in cleaner, clearer, and more naturally beautiful music.

Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors
Solid conductors stop the interaction between electrical and magnetic strands. PSC plus Solid Copper reduces distortion from grain boundaries and enhances linear RF Noise Dissipation.
Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation
Achieving 100% shield coverage is simple. To stop captured radio-frequency interference (RFI) from affecting the equipments ground reference, AQs Noise-Dissipation is necessary. Conventional shield systems usually absorb and drain noise/RF energy to the component ground, which modulates and distorts the important reference ground plane, leading to signal distortion. Noise-Dissipation protects the shield, absorbing and reflecting most of this noise/RF energy before it reaches the layer connected to ground.

Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation
Any solid material near a conductor is essentially part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials both absorb energy, some of which is stored and later released as distortion. Since air absorbs almost no energy and Polyethylene has low loss with minimal distortion, Foamed-PE, with its high air content, creates significantly less of the blurring effect typically seen with other materials.
- Solid Conductors: Prevent strand-interaction, reducing dynamic distortion in cables.
- Perfect-Surface Copper+ Metal: Extreme-purity copper that minimizes distortion caused by grain boundaries.
- Metal Layer Noise Dissipation: Shields and absorbs noise, particularly from radio frequency interference (RFI), before it reaches the ground layer.
- Fome Polyethylene Insulation: High air content reduces energy absorption, resulting in clearer sound.
- Direction Controlled: Conductors are designed for optimal RF-noise directionality.
