AudioQuest Big Sur 3.5mm Mini to 2-Male RCA analogue interconnect carefully crafted for excellent flexibility and versatility. Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors reduce distortion, Foamed-Polyethylene insulation maintains dynamic contrasts, and a Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation effectively dissipates high-frequency noise for cleaner, clearer, and more naturally beautiful music.


Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors
Solid conductors stop electrical and magnetic strand interactions. PSC+ Solid-Copper reduces distortion from grain boundaries and enhances linear RF Noise-Dissipation.
Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation
Achieving full shield coverage is easy. AQ Noise-Dissipation is required to prevent captured radio-frequency interference RFI from modulating the equipment ground reference. Conventional shield systems usually absorb and then channel noise/RF energy to the component ground, which modulates and distorts the vital reference ground plane, leading to signal distortion. Noise-Dissipation shields the shield by absorbing and reflecting most of this noise/RF energy before it reaches the ground-attached layer.




Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation
Any solid material next to a conductor is essentially part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials absorb energy, some of which is stored and later released as distortion. Since air absorbs almost no energy and Polyethylene is low-loss with a minimal distortion profile, Foamed-PE, due to its high air content, produces significantly less of the out-of-focus effect typical of other materials.
