Details
AudioQuest Mackenzie Bulk Spool analogue-audio cable, carefully designed for exceptional performance and outstanding value. Use it to connect audio source components to amplifiers and receivers. Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors reduce distortion, Foamed-Polyethylene insulation maintains dynamic contrasts, and a Carbon Mesh-Network Noise-Dissipation effectively dissipates high-frequency noise. The result is cleaner, clearer, and more naturally beautiful music.

Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors
Solid conductors eliminate electrical and magnetic interference between strands. PSC+ Solid-Copper further reduces distortion from grain boundaries and enhances linear RF Noise-Dissipation, ensuring clearer signal transmission.
Carbon-Based 3-Layer Noise-Dissipation
Achieving 100% shield coverage is straightforward. However, preventing captured Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) from affecting the equipment's ground reference requires AQ's Noise-Dissipation System (NDS). Conventional shielding systems usually absorb and redirect noise/RF energy to the component's ground, which disturbs and modulates the essential reference ground plane, leading to signal distortion. NDS, on the other hand, uses alternating layers of metal and carbon-infused synthetics to effectively shield the shield, absorbing and reflecting most of the noise/RF energy before it reaches the ground-attached layer.

Direction-Controlled Conductors
All metal strands or conductors, when drawn, have a non-symmetrical, directional grain structure. AudioQuest manages the resulting RF impedance variations to effectively direct noise away from areas where it could cause distortion. The optimal direction is determined by listening to each batch of metal conductors used in AudioQuest audio cables. Arrows are marked on the connectors to indicate this direction, ensuring superior sound quality. For most AudioQuest cable models, the arrows not only show the best direction for metal orientation in relation to Noise-Dissipation but also mark the correct attachment of the shield and ground to optimize overall system performance. A key element of AudioQuest's comprehensive Noise-Dissipation technology, Direction-Controlled Conductors ensure that induced noise is properly dissipated and directed away from sensitive areas.
