In traditional multi-strand cables, electrical and magnetic interactions between moving strands create distortion, which increases as strands shift positions within the bundle. In contrast, AudioQuest's Semi-Solid Concentric design keeps strands fixed in place, greatly minimizing this distortion. The use of Long-Grain Copper (LGC) delivers cleaner, more detailed sound compared to standard OFHC (Oxygen-Free High-Conductivity) copper, thanks to fewer impurities, fewer grain boundaries, and lower oxide content—resulting in significantly improved performance.
