Details
AudioQuest Tower 3.5mm Mini to 2-Male RCA analogue interconnect, carefully designed for exceptional flexibility and versatility. Solid Long-Grain Copper LGC conductors reduce distortion, Foamed-Polyethylene insulation maintains dynamic contrasts, and a Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation effectively dissipates high-frequency noise for cleaner, clearer, and more naturally beautiful music.

Solid Long-Grain Copper LGC Conductors
Solid Long-Grain Copper LGC delivers a smoother and clearer sound compared to cables made with regular OFHC Oxygen-Free High-Conductivity copper. Solid conductors prevent strand interaction, a major source of distortion. The surface quality is vital because a conductor serves as a rail-guide for both electric fields inside and magnetic fields outside the conductor. LGC contains fewer oxides, impurities, and grain boundaries, providing significantly better performance.
Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation
Any solid material next to a conductor forms part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials absorb energy, some of which is stored and later released as distortion. Because air absorbs almost no energy and Polyethylene is low-loss with a mild distortion profile, Foamed-PE with its high air content causes much less of the out-of-focus effect typical of other materials.

Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation
Achieving full shield coverage is easy. Preventing captured radio-frequency interference RFI from affecting the equipment ground reference requires AQ Noise-Dissipation. Traditional shield systems generally absorb and then drain noise and RF energy to component ground, which modulates and distorts the essential reference ground plane, causing signal distortion. Noise-Dissipation protects the shield by absorbing and reflecting most of this noise and RF energy before it reaches the ground-attached layer.
- Solid Conductors prevent strand-interaction, reducing dynamic distortion in cables.
- High-purity Long-Grain Copper (LGC) conductors minimize distortion caused by grain boundaries.
- Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation shields noise effectively by absorbing and reflecting most RFI before it reaches the ground layer.
- Foamed-Polyethylene insulation with high air content minimizes energy absorption for clearer sound.
- All conductors are direction controlled for RF-noise directionality.
