Details
AudioQuest Tower RCA analogue interconnect, carefully designed for exceptional flexibility and versatility. Solid Long-Grain Copper LGC conductors reduce distortion, Foamed-Polyethylene insulation maintains dynamic contrasts, and a Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation effectively dissipates high-frequency noise for cleaner, clearer, and more naturally beautiful music.

Solid Long-Grain Copper LGC Conductors
Solid Long-Grain Copper LGC provides a smoother and clearer sound compared to cables made with regular OFHC Oxygen-Free High-Conductivity copper. Solid conductors prevent strand interaction, which is a major cause of distortion. Surface quality is essential because a conductor acts as a rail-guide for electric fields inside and magnetic fields outside the conductor. LGC contains fewer oxides, impurities, and grain boundaries, resulting in clearly better performance.
Metal-Layer Noise-Dissipation
Achieving full shield coverage is easy. Preventing captured radio-frequency interference RFI from modulating the equipment ground reference requires AQ Noise-Dissipation. Traditional shields usually absorb and then drain noise and RF energy to component ground, modulating and distorting the critical reference ground plane, which causes signal distortion. Noise-Dissipation protects the shield by absorbing and reflecting most of this noise and RF energy before it reaches the ground-attached layer.

Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation
Any solid material next to a conductor forms part of an imperfect circuit. Wire insulation and circuit board materials absorb energy, some of which is stored and later released as distortion. Since air absorbs almost no energy and Polyethylene is low-loss with a mild distortion profile, Foamed-PE with its high air content produces much less of the out-of-focus effect common in other materials.
- Solid Conductors: Prevent strand-interaction, which is a major source of dynamic distortion in cables.
- Long-Grain Copper (LGC): High-purity copper conductors that minimize distortion caused by grain boundaries.
- Metal Layer Noise Dissipation: Shields noise effectively by absorbing and reflecting most radio frequency interference (RFI) before it reaches the ground layer.
- Foamed Polyethylene Insulation: The high air content in foamed polyethylene minimizes energy absorption, resulting in clearer sound.
- Direction Controlled: All conductors are controlled for RF-noise directionality to enhance performance.
