Details
AudioQuest Yukon XLR analogue-audio cable, carefully engineered for exceptional performance and excellent value. Use it to connect audio source components to amplifiers and receivers. Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors reduce distortion, Polyethylene Air-Tube insulation maintains dynamic contrasts, and a Carbon Mesh-Network Noise-Dissipation efficiently disperses high-frequency noise. The result is cleaner, clearer, and more naturally beautiful music.

Solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) Conductors
Solid conductors stop electrical and magnetic strand interactions. PSC+ Solid-Copper reduces distortion from grain boundaries and enhances linear RF Noise-Dissipation.
Carbon-Based 3-Layer Noise-Dissipation
Full shield coverage is easy to achieve. Preventing captured Radio Frequency Interference RFI from affecting the equipment ground reference requires AQ Noise-Dissipation System NDS. Traditional shield systems typically absorb and then drain noise and RF energy to component ground, which modulates and distorts the vital reference ground plane, causing signal distortion. NDS uses alternating layers of metal and carbon-loaded synthetics to protect the shield, absorbing and reflecting most of the noise and RF energy before it reaches the ground-attached layer.

Direction-Controlled Conductors
All drawn metal strands or conductors have a non-symmetrical and directional grain structure. AudioQuest manages the resulting RF impedance variation to ensure noise is drained away from areas where it could cause distortion. The correct direction is determined by listening to each batch of metal conductors used in every AudioQuest audio cable. When relevant, arrows are clearly marked on the connectors to indicate the direction that optimizes both metal-directionality and full-system performance through non-symmetrical shield and ground attachment. As a core element of AudioQuest multifaceted Noise-Dissipation technology, Direction-Controlled Conductors help ensure that induced noise is properly dissipated and drained.
- Solid Conductors
Prevent strand-interaction, which reduces dynamic distortion in cables. - Perfect-Surface Copper+ (Metal)
Uses AudioQuests highest purity copper to minimize distortion caused by grain boundaries. - 3 Layer Carbon-Based Noise Dissipation
Alternating layers of metal and carbon-loaded synthetics create a shield the shield effect, absorbing and reflecting most RF energy before it reaches the grounding layer. This is an enhanced noise dissipation method compared to the previous metal layer. - Polyethylene Air-Tubes Insulation
Low-loss, high-air content design that minimizes out-of-focus effects seen with other materials, ensuring optimal performance. - Direction Controlled
All conductors are controlled for RF-noise directionality, reducing noise interference.
