  • Projector: If size matters, projectors win hands down. Even entry-level home cinema projectors can produce images over 100 inches diagonally, creating a truly cinematic experience. Perfect for movie nights, sports events, and gaming on a massive scale.
  • TV: TVs have grown larger over the years, with 75–85 inches now common — but they still can’t match the wall-filling image of a projector.

Image Quality

  • TV: Modern TVs boast 4K and 8K resolution, high brightness, HDR formats like Dolby Vision, and exceptional contrast thanks to OLED and Mini-LED technology. They offer crisp, vibrant images even in bright rooms.
  • Projector: Today’s premium projectors also offer 4K and HDR, but they perform best in dim or fully dark rooms. Blacks can be deep and colours rich, but ambient light can reduce the impact unless you use an ALR (Ambient Light Rejecting) screen.
