Bowers & Wilkins 684 S2 5.1 Theatre Home Speaker System provides room-filling sound without a room-filling speaker cabinet. Slimmer than ever, the 684 S2 speakers offer an amazing combination of serious 684 S2 Floorstanding, spectacular audio performance and unbeatable value thanks to its new and vastly improved bass/midrange drivers and the Decoupled Double Dome tweeter.

Bowers & Wilkins 684 S2 Floorstanding Speakers

The 684 S2 Floorstanding Speakers feature dual 130 mm kevlar® bass/midrange drivers, Decoupled Double Dome aluminium tweeter with nautilus™ tube loading and Flowport™.

Bowers & Wilkins 686 S2 Bookshelf Speakers

The Bookshelf Speakers is the most compact speaker in the series, but don’t underestimate its power and precision. That's thanks to a new Decoupled Double Dome tweeter and improved design and a 130 mm Kevlar® fibre cone bass/midrange along with Flowport™ technology.

Bowers & Wilkins HTM62 Center Speaker

Bowers & Wilkins HTM62 Center Speaker is the smaller centre speaker that still excels at delivering power and precision, featuring dual 130 mm Kevlar® fiver cone bass/midrange, Decoupled Double Dome aluminium tweeter with nautilus™ tube loading and Flowport™ technology.

Bowers & Wilkins ASW610 Subwoofer

The ASW610 Subwoofer presents a long-throw 250 mm and its audiophile-standard 200 W ICEpower® Class D amplifier keeps the compact unit running cool, even when the music or movie action is whipping up a storm.

Nautilus™

Nautilus™ symbolizes all the qualities of innovation, dedication and love of music which have inspired Bowers & Wilkins engineers, designers and production teams ever since our company was established over 40 years ago. The Nautilus offers a unique chance to hear music exactly as recorded: detailed, vibrantly alive, full of power and unhindered by speaker distortion or cabinet diffraction.

De-coupling

Preventing mechanical vibration from the bass cabinet from reaching the tweeter leads to a much cleaner, sweeter high-frequency performance. For the 800 Series Diamond, we’ve adopted a synthetic gel to cushion the tweeter better than ever before. Not only that, but we’ve also isolated the tweeter assembly from the tube and mounting behind, which reduces external interference to virtual nil.

Kevlar®

Kevlar® has been Bowers & Wilkins’ cone material of choice since 1974, and with good reason. Not only does it deliver a cleaner sound, but it can also do so to a wider group of listeners. The distinctive yellow cones are found on almost all Bowers & Wilkins loudspeakers.

Nautilus Tapering Tubes

Not all sound generated by speaker drive units is good sound. The kind that emerges from the back of a working driver, into a conventional box cabinet, can bounce around and make a mess of the good sound coming out of the front. Bowers & Wilkins’ trailblazing Nautilus™ speaker found a way around boxes. Tapering tubes filled with absorbent wadding soaked up the wayward sound energy and reduced resonances to an insignificant minimum.

Flowport™

Bowers & Wilkins’s Flowport™ minimizes turbulence in the same way as a golf ball. Dimples on the surface generate tiny eddy currents over which air can flow smoothly, reducing turbulence, and improving performance. This is because if turbulence occurs as the air moves in and out of the port, you’ll hear extraneous noise and, as you turn the volume up, the bass won’t be as tight and well timed as it should be.
