Bowers & Wilkins CM10 S2 5.1 Home Theatre System constitutes of discrete speakers that are beautiful design and built with high quality component. The CM10 S2 fills your largest room with stunningly detailed and realistic sound.

Tweeter On Top

Every CM Series speaker now features Decoupled Double Dome tweeters. The top-of-the range CM10 S2 and CM6 S2 also get a tweeter-on-top, a feature taken from our most advanced reference speaker range, the 800 Series Diamond. Isolating the tweeter in this way aids imaging and dispersion, creating a more lifelike sound and an improved sense of space.

Decoupled Double Dome Tweeter

CM Series tweeters use a thin, light aluminium dome bonded to a thicker ring, to prevent distortion, for purer high notes. They are then 'decoupled' from the cabinets with a ring of synthetic gel, to cushion and remove vibration.

Nautilus Tube

Not all sound is good. Sound from the rear of a tweeter can bounce around a cabinet and undermine the sound coming from the front. Nautilus Tapering Tubes, filled with absorbent wadding, reduce unwanted sound to a minimum.

FST

The properties that let Kevlar stop a bullet also make it ideal for stopping distorting resonances in a speaker cone. It delivers a cleaner, more precise sound, to a wider group of listeners. The combination of Kevlar and Fixed Suspension Transducer maximises the effect. This 'surroundless' suspension minimises distortion by converting unwanted energy into heat, not sound.

Anti-Resonance Plugs

The bass/mid drivers in CM Series feature Anti-Resonance Plugs, as seen in PM1. These mushroom-shaped devices fit inside the voice coils and reduce high-frequency break-up by ensuring better pistonic movement and damping resonances.

Decoupling

Tweeter on top isn’t the only thing the new CM10 S2 shares with 800 Series Diamond. It also features a midrange drive unit decoupled from the cabinet. Which helps isolate it from any resonance, delivering purer, cleaner sound.

Cabinet Construction

All CM Series cabinets are made from real wood and are extensively braced. This not only leads to an aesthetically-pleasing, furniture-like finish, it also provides a solid platform for the high-quality drive units to work at their best. From this solid bass drive units are capable of delivering a more detailing, room filling performance.

Simple Crossovers

The crossover sends the audio signal to the correct driver, depending on frequency. The simpler this component is, the better. The high-quality crossovers in CM series use superior Mundorf capacitors for simply better audio.

Flowport

Great bass depends on smooth airflow. The dimples on the Flowport venting system aid flow much like the dimples on a golf ball. Noise is reduced to a minimum – and even with the volume right up, bass sounds smooth and tight.

Bowers & Wilkins CM10 S2 Floorstanding Speakers

The CM10 S2 was the first speaker to feature not only a Tweeter On Top, but a Decoupled Double Dome Tweeter to boot. Given the stellar performance these technologies deliver, the new CM10 S2 retains them for a stunningly accurate high-end response.

Bowers & Wilkins CM5 S2 Shelf/Standmount Speakers

Bowers & Wilkins CM5 S2 Shelf/Standmount Speakers delivers room filling sound with a Decoupled Double Dome Tweeter and 165mm Kevlar® cone bass/midrange driver.

As well as now featuring a Decoupled Double Dome Tweeter, CM5 S2 features a 165mm Kevlar® cone bass/midrange driver with Anti-Resonance Plug dustcap. The result is power, with precision, from a small shelf or standmounted speaker.

Bowers & Wilkins CM Centre 2 S2 Center Channel Speaker

Bowers & Wilkins CM Centre 2 S2 Centre Channel Speaker delivers most out of demanding movie soundtrack in beautifully finished speaker. The CM Center 2 S2 Center speaker houses extra 100 mm FST Kevlar® midrange driver, addition to two bass and a tweeter.

Key to the power and poise of CM Centre 2 S2 is the combination of a 100mm FST Kevlar® midrange driver and two 165mm Kevlar® bass drivers. The result is more than enough power to fill the largest of home cinema rooms.

Bowers & Wilkins ASW10CM S2 10" Subwoofer

Bowers & Wilkins ASW10CM S2 10" Subwoofer is designed to complement rest of the CM Series speaker that house Kevlar® driver controlled by a highly efficient 500 Watts audiophile Class D amplifier.

ASW10CM S2 now features the option of either Gloss Black or Satin White finish, with a light gray grille, to better match the rest of the CM Series.
