The latest incarnation of a long legacy of Denon X5 models, the AVR-X540BT continues the company's tradition in delivering a comprehensive 5 channel home cinema powerhouse that is reliable, easy to use and fully compatible with whatever you need to the plugin.
New to 2017 is full support for 4Kp60 4:4:4 HDR10 and HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) to complement the latest UHD displays and streaming content such as Ultra HD Blu-ray, Netflix 4K and Youtube 4K.
Representing the perfect combination of high performance and high value, the Denon AVR-X540BT delivers superb sonic fidelity along with a host of advanced features including full 4K compatibility, HDR (High Dynamic Range), and ARC (Audio Return Channel) for the complete home cinema experience. Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, the AVR-X540BT receives your favourite music wirelessly from any compatible device, and the dedicated Denon 500 Series Bluetooth remote app offers unique control options from your smartphone.
Powerful 5 channel
Discrete Amplifier with Eco Mode
Featuring high current discrete power output devices on all channels, the AVR-X540BT delivers high power and is rated at a maximum of 130 watts per channel. The Eco mode adjusts the power amplifier's output according to the volume level to reduce power consumption, with an on-screen Eco meter providing real-time monitoring of the power-saving. For compatibility with the widest range of loudspeakers, the AVR-X540BT is equipped with low impedance drive capability that provides operational stability with 6-ohm speakers.
Advanced HDMI Video Section
Featuring 5 HDMI inputs, including 1 conveniently located on the front panel, the AVR-X540BT's video section features all you need for the full home cinema experience: Full 4K Ultra HD, HDCP 2.2, HDR (High Dynamic Range), BT.2020, Wide Color Gamut, 4:4:4 Pure Color sub-sampling, as well as 21:9 and 3D video pass-through.
Built-in Bluetooth
Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, you can easily stream your music from any compatible Bluetooth phone, tablet or computer. Simply select the AVR-X540BT from your device's Bluetooth menu to turn on the receiver and start playing your music. The AVR can remember up to 8 paired Bluetooth devices, so family and friends can listen to their favourite tracks.
Compatible with HEOS Link
Denon's HEOS wireless music streaming system delivers the ultimate in sound quality, ease-of-use and system flexibility. Sold separately, the HEOS Link enables the AVR-X540BT to playback nearly unlimited online music sources, like Internet Radio or popular music streaming services like Spotify, Deezer or TIDAL. Furthermore, once connected to the HEOS Link, the free HEOS app can control certain functions of the AVR most conveniently.
Easy To Setup
For ease of setup, the AVR comes with a setup measuring microphone that adjusts critical system parameters for top audio fidelity custom-tailored for your speaker system and listening space. It has colour-coded loudspeaker terminals and comes with colour-coded speaker labels that help ensure correct speaker cable hookups the very first time. With our exclusive Setup Assistant along with the Quick Start Guide, you can connect and configure your home cinema system quickly and easily. The Setup Assistant features clear on-screen text that quickly and easily guides you through the setup process, optimizing critical system settings for the best possible sound quality.
Easy To Use
The AVR's front panel features 4 Quick Select function buttons so you can quickly choose from the most popular sources and the system remembers your preferred audio settings for each one. The ergonomic remote control also features dedicated Quick Select buttons. And when you connect the AVR to your Smart TV you have the option of controlling the AVR via the TV's remote control which lets you select an input, adjust the volume and choose the surround sound mode.
Bluetooth Remote App
Download the 500 Series Denon Remote app and control your AVR-X540BT from your Bluetooth device. Functions include On/Off, Volume Up/Down, Mute and Source Selection. The app is available for iOS and Android version.
Front USB Port
In addition to numerous analog and digital AV connectors, the AVR-X540BT features a convenient USB port on the front panel that's compatible with portable USB devices and can playback a wide range of audio file types including MP3, WMA, FLAC and MPEG-4/AAC tracks.

Refund, Return and Repair Policy
Digital Cinema strives to make every purchase a happy one.

Always inspect any products that we have delivered to you or that you picked up from the Digital Cinema store, to make sure you are completely satisfied with the condition of the products, including that the products are of merchantable quality.

Change of Mind
Please choose carefully as refunds for change of mind would only be accepted with a restocking fee subject to approval. We recommend you carefully choose any products before adding them to your cart and continuing with your order. The restocking fee is 25% if approved.
Goods Damaged in Transit
If any products are delivered damaged, please contact our Customer service Staff as soon as possible. Digital Cinema will organise to have your products returned to Digital Cinema and to arrange for a replacement of your products fast. Damaged products need to be returned in the same condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and manuals.

Delivery Charges
Digital Cinema will refund all delivery charges in the event an item has to be returned due to a fault or damage and no replacement items can be found. Delivery refund will only be approved within 14 days of purchase and all original packaging, accessories and manuals are included.

Refunds
Any Refunds will be made by Digital Cinema using the same method of payment used to make your purchase. Refunds will normally be processed within five (5) days.
Digital Cinema reserve the right to refund and cancel any order when the below occurs.
- Grossly incorrect pricing has been listed by accident due to human error.
- Items cannot be fulfilled due to stock issues.
- The sale is considered to be fraudulent and Digital Cinema considers the fulfillment of this sale may harm Digital Cinema.
You will be contacted by email to explain why a refund has been issued and products not delivered.
Returns and Repairs

You may also contact Digital Cinema on 1300 859 905 or visit the store where the items were collected. A Digital Cinema team member will help you with any return or repair. This will include inspecting the products, organising for the products to be repaired, or offering you a replacement.
Products need to be returned within a reasonable time period. This timeframe may vary from product to product and may depend on the type of product you purchased and the price you paid.

Products returned under warranty will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time period. You will be provided with a repair time after the item is assessed. This time may vary due to reasons beyond our or the manufacturer's control, such as parts availability and incorrect fault advice given.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment or freight costs, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where the goods are assessed not to be faulty. We will provide you with a cost if this case arrises.
If any electrical goods that you returned may lose settings or user saved preferences during the resetting and rebooting phases in a repair sequence.
