Engaging overhead sound from GoldenEar
A pair of the Invisa 525 in-ceiling speakers is a great choice for getting Dolby Atmos overhead sound effects in a small- to medium-sized room.
Tuneful bass and textured midrange come courtesy of a 5-1/4" polymer woofer, while a HVFRâ„¢ (High-Velocity Folded Ribbon) tweeter dishes out ultra-smooth, ultra-revealing highs with music and movies.
A unique tweeter yields superb sound
The Invisa 525's HVFR tweeter is actually a trickle-down technology borrowed from GoldenEar's top-of-the-line Triton Series. It uses neodymium magnets to squeeze and pressurize the air and move a high-density Kapton film diaphragm.
This no-resonance, low-distortion design helps the tweeter reach an astonishingly high 35,000 Hz while keeping a smooth, detailed response — even at high volume. There's almost no moving mass, so it isn't subject to the piston-like issues of traditional dome-style tweeters (namely, "wobble" or distortion). The resulting sound is terrific, with a wide soundstage and pinpoint stereo imaging.

- ideal for an in-ceiling music system or overhead surround effects in a home theater system
- 5-1/4" marble-infused polymer woofer for tight bass and articulate midrange
- HVFR (High-Velocity Folded Ribbon) tweeter for natural and revealing highs
- tweeter is aimable to direct high-frequency details towards you
- multi-position tweeter level control cuts or boosts high-frequency output to best match your room's acoustics
