Easy to conceal and operating in the same phase as the speakers for perfect integration, it delivers fast, uniformly dispersed and devastatingly accurate bass.
In the larger models, the same high performance 25 mm (1 inch) vented tweeter is paired with two 115 mm (4.5 in.) ultra-low profile bass and mid-range drivers for an even bigger sound.
At the heart of the T301 satellites is the new Twin Layered Mid Frequency Driver. This revolutionary low profile drive unit is incredibly slim (only 27 mm deep). However, it delivers the performance of a drive unit several times its depth.
The T-Series uses a Twin Layered Mid Frequency Driver (patent pending). This is comprised of a moulded radiating diaphragm with integral stiffening ribs running radially and circumferentially. A thin layer of high modulus material on the rear of the ribs provides additional stiffness. This structure ensures the diaphragm moves historically within its working frequency band, whilst occupying a depth of only 5 mm. This technology has been developed and optimised using finite element analysis.
The T-Series has a Vented Tweeter. This increases the amount of air enclosed behind the dome to reduce the distortion of the sound.
An important feature of the T Series Mid-range Driver is the new Z-Flex Surround. The surround is a critical component of any bass/mid-range driver. The designer must carefully choose the material and shape so as to avoid irregularities in the mid-band response due to resonance in the moving parts whilst at the same time allowing sufficient excursion of the cone in order to reproduce bass frequencies. Most modern drivers use a half-roll design typically moulded from Butyl rubber. The half-roll design can often perform well if carefully designed, however, KEF's computer modelling techniques have allowed us to investigate some more adventurous possibilities. The Z-Flex surround is the result.
A slimline closed box design, the assertive T-2 subwoofer completes the 3D sound image by adding definition and weight to the Low-Frequency response.

If any products are delivered damaged, please contact our Customer service Staff as soon as possible. Digital Cinema will organise to have your products returned to Digital Cinema and to arrange for a replacement of your products fast. Damaged products need to be returned in the same condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and manuals.

Digital Cinema will refund all delivery charges in the event an item has to be returned due to a fault or damage and no replacement items can be found. Delivery refund will only be approved within 14 days of purchase and all original packaging, accessories and manuals are included.

Products returned under warranty will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time period. You will be provided with a repair time after the item is assessed. This time may vary due to reasons beyond our or the manufacturer's control, such as parts availability and incorrect fault advice given.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment or freight costs, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where the goods are assessed not to be faulty. We will provide you with a cost if this case arrises.
If any electrical goods that you returned may lose settings or user saved preferences during the resetting and rebooting phases in a repair sequence.
