Marantz MM8077 Multichannel Main Amplifier is designed for the ultimate music and movie to surround sound experience, the MM8077 7-channel power amplifier is equipped with the same amplifier technologies that are incorporated in our reference class hi-fi amplifiers, including our unique current feedback discrete power amplifier stage design, which features a high slew rate that provides wide bandwidth for the utmost enjoyment of today’s high-resolution audio formats. All output stages feature identical topology for uniform high-quality sound across all channels, and the MM8077 provides the option to choose between balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs for each channel, for maximum system configuration flexibility. High current, high bandwidth discrete power transistors can handle short term musical bursts with aplomb, even into difficult low impedance speaker loads.
The Marantz current feedback discrete power amplifier topology employs high current, wide-bandwidth power transistors that feature high slew rate along with low impedance drive capability, for maximum operating bandwidth and solid performance with difficult speaker loads. The MM8077 is rated at 150 watts in 8 ohms for each of the 7 channels (continuous), and can deliver 180 watts into 6 ohms.
The high power, high current power supply features a massive toroidal power transformer that can easily handle substantial short term power peaks. The high capacity power supply capacitors, 100,000μ total, contribute to the amplifier’s ability to deliver short term bursts of power when needed, which is especially helpful when driving difficult-to-drive lower impedance speakers.
Choose between balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs for each channel for maximum system configuration flexibility.
A variety of systems, including 11-channel systems, can be built by combining the MM8077 with the 5-channel MM7705.
When the Marantz AV8801 or AV7701 pre-amplifier is connected to the MM8077, the remote power control feature links the power ON/OFF function of the pre-amplifier to the MM8077.
For environmental and energy-saving considerations, power consumption during standby mode has been reduced to less than 0.4 W.
The MM8077 automatically switches to standby mode when there has been no signal for 30 minutes. This prevents power from being wasted whenever you forget to turn the power off.

Please choose carefully as refunds for change of mind would only be accepted with a restocking fee subject to approval. We recommend you carefully choose any products before adding them to your cart and continuing with your order. The restocking fee is 25% if approved.
If any products are delivered damaged, please contact our Customer service Staff as soon as possible. Digital Cinema will organise to have your products returned to Digital Cinema and to arrange for a replacement of your products fast. Damaged products need to be returned in the same condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and manuals.

Products returned under warranty will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time period. You will be provided with a repair time after the item is assessed. This time may vary due to reasons beyond our or the manufacturer's control, such as parts availability and incorrect fault advice given.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment or freight costs, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where the goods are assessed not to be faulty. We will provide you with a cost if this case arrises.
If any electrical goods that you returned may lose settings or user saved preferences during the resetting and rebooting phases in a repair sequence.
