More than two decades ago, we revolutionized home theater with the YSP-1 soundbar, and we've been perfecting our beam technology ever since. In this latest model, Yamaha's original YDA-141 high-performance amplifier drives twelve ultra-precise, DSP-controlled beam speakers—six on each side of the top—to create unique height channels through ceiling reflections. This results in realistic Dolby Atmos® playback and an incredible sound field that goes beyond what conventional soundbars can offer.

Deep Bass, Powerful Sound

The subwoofer in this system utilizes Symmetrical Flare Port® technology, which was newly developed using precise Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) measurements. This technology delivers powerful, deeply resonant bass. The symmetrical horizontal and vertical port structure ensures an extremely smooth release of the strong airflow produced during bass reproduction. As a result, port noise has been reduced by 20 dB compared to conventional models, allowing for pure, powerful, and deep bass.
