Aktimate Mini+ Powered Speakers-Audio System
This 2-way stereo pair of speakers includes a highly efficient 2 x 40 watt class D amplifier built into one speaker which powers that speaker and the other speaker by way of a speaker cable connected to it. An iPod dock is concealed on the top of the amplified speaker. It accepts iPod & iPhone devices. (version 5 and above must use an adapter, not included) & these devices will be charged while the Aktimate is in "on" status.
Besides the iPod/iPhone dock, there are other input connections as follows:
- 1 x stereo 3.5 mm analogue input socket
- 2 pairs of stereo rca analogue inputs
- 1 x iPod dock compatible bluetooth adapter. (plugs into iPod dock, supports A2DP & AVRCP profiles)
Input selection can be accessed via the stylish remote control or by a series of short presses on the volume/control knob. There are four input options, iPod, RCA 1, RCA 2, and 3.5mm stereo jack.
There is also a L/R rca stereo output that can be used to drive an active subwoofer (optional extra)
In addition to being able to use your iPod/iPhone, your AktiMate Mini+ speakers have 2 other types of inputs on the rear panel. The 2 x RCA inputs (L&R) are ideal for connecting a CD player, tuner, or other line level source. The AUX 3.5mm socket is ideal for connecting to a computer sound card, AirPort Express, or other type of MP3 player.
Although the Aktimate Mini+ is a flexible and attractively finished unit, it is important to appreciate that Aktimate has gone to considerable lengths to produce a system of outstanding sound reproduction. The success of this aim has been demonstrated time and time again as the various Aktimate models have enjoyed enthusiastic magazine and on-line reviews all over the world.
Your AktiMate Mini+ is also an ideal TV speaker. Connection is simple using one of the RCA inputs on the rear panel of the amplified speaker. Input selection is either by remote control or by use of the control knob on the front of the speaker. The selection operates on a cycle - iPod/Aux 1/Aux 2/3.5 mm jack. Short presses on the control knob will cycle through those four inputs.
The control knob has several functions - volume control, input selection and standby. To operate the volume, rotate the knob right or left to increase or decrease the level. The blue LED in the window will flash when the volume level is changing. There are 30 level steps from 0 to maximum.
To start your AktiMate Mini+, press the control knob once. This will turn the orange LED off, the red Mute LED will light temporarily and then the Blue LED will indicate the system is in play mode. A long press on the control knob will put your system back into Standby.
The AktiMate Mini+ will charge your iPod/iPhone when it is in the dock and the speakers are on. Even if you are listening to a different source, your device will still charge. However it will not charge when the system is in Mute.
The remote handset has many functions. It is possible to put the system into Standby or wake it up by pressing the power button (top left side). This is not a power on/off button - the unit needs to be switched on from the power switch on the rear panel.
The remote control handset allows basic functions for your iPod - i.e. menu, enter, forward/back, shuffle, repeat, play and pause. The buttons on the bottom right and left of the handset control the volume level of all inputs including your iPod. The blue LED will flash to show when the volume is changing from 0 to 30.
The Mini+ comes complete with speaker wire, so you can literally unpack, connect the speakers, connect to mains power, switch on, pop your iPod/iPhone in the dock and you are listening to your favourite music through superb hi-fi stereo speakers within minutes of walking through your front door.

Refund, Return and Repair Policy
Digital Cinema strives to make every purchase a happy one.

Always inspect any products that we have delivered to you or that you picked up from the Digital Cinema store, to make sure you are completely satisfied with the condition of the products, including that the products are of merchantable quality.

Change of Mind
Please choose carefully as refunds for change of mind would only be accepted with a restocking fee subject to approval. We recommend you carefully choose any products before adding them to your cart and continuing with your order. The restocking fee is 25% if approved.
Goods Damaged in Transit
If any products are delivered damaged, please contact our Customer service Staff as soon as possible. Digital Cinema will organise to have your products returned to Digital Cinema and to arrange for a replacement of your products fast. Damaged products need to be returned in the same condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and manuals.

Delivery Charges
Digital Cinema will refund all delivery charges in the event an item has to be returned due to a fault or damage and no replacement items can be found. Delivery refund will only be approved within 14 days of purchase and all original packaging, accessories and manuals are included.

Refunds
Any Refunds will be made by Digital Cinema using the same method of payment used to make your purchase. Refunds will normally be processed within five (5) days.
Digital Cinema reserve the right to refund and cancel any order when the below occurs.
- Grossly incorrect pricing has been listed by accident due to human error.
- Items cannot be fulfilled due to stock issues.
- The sale is considered to be fraudulent and Digital Cinema considers the fulfillment of this sale may harm Digital Cinema.
You will be contacted by email to explain why a refund has been issued and products not delivered.
Returns and Repairs

You may also contact Digital Cinema on 1300 859 905 or visit the store where the items were collected. A Digital Cinema team member will help you with any return or repair. This will include inspecting the products, organising for the products to be repaired, or offering you a replacement.
Products need to be returned within a reasonable time period. This timeframe may vary from product to product and may depend on the type of product you purchased and the price you paid.

Products returned under warranty will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time period. You will be provided with a repair time after the item is assessed. This time may vary due to reasons beyond our or the manufacturer's control, such as parts availability and incorrect fault advice given.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment or freight costs, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where the goods are assessed not to be faulty. We will provide you with a cost if this case arrises.
If any electrical goods that you returned may lose settings or user saved preferences during the resetting and rebooting phases in a repair sequence.
