Cyrus Qx DAC Module (Digital-to-Analogue Converter) is a circuit board of high end DAC components which converts your digital sources to analogue in the highest possible resolution available. Although it processes the best 24-bit files in high resolution, the Qx DAC makes the most of any input you supply it with.
The Qx DAC is a circuit board of made up of audiophile digital and analogue components which converts your digital sources to analogue in the highest possible resolution available. Although it processes the best 24-bit files in high resolution, the Qx DAC makes the most of any input you supply it with. Whatever the resolution of the incoming digital source, the Qx DAC takes that signal and upsamples it to the highest 192kHz resolution, meaning it will improve the sound of all your connected digital sources.
The effects of the high end DAC components used in the Qx DAC board are instantly noticeable; you will hear new details in the recordings, enjoy clearer and more defined higher frequencies and experience deeper tighter low frequencies through your system. Rather than simply using a highly specified DAC chip, we have created an entire circuit board to handle the conversion process. Through this we have been able to carefully tune the output and capture subtle sounds which would otherwise be lost.
This board isn’t just a sophisticated processor; it includes an advanced power supply and multiple filtering techniques to enhance the performance of the DAC. Quartz reference anti-jitter circuits eliminate timing errors, which manifest themselves as unwanted signals on the output.
In particular, much work went into getting exceptional low level response from the Qx DAC card, meaning even the smallest signals are picked up and communicated brilliantly. Many of our other DAC products also have the capacity to have the higher definition Qx DAC card added to them – speak to your local Cyrus retailer for more information on how you can upgrade your product.
