Definitive Technology DN15 15-Inch Powered Subwoofer is designed to deliver powerful and deep bass reproduction, specifically targeting frequencies below 20Hz. The DN15’s unique 3XR Architecture provides triple the bass-producing surface area of a traditional 15” ported subwoofer. This extra surface area moves more air, resulting in a monumental low end. And because 3XR doesn’t use ports, it also provides crystal-clear sound with no port noise distortion.

Powered by Class H digital amplification, and with an advanced 56-bit DSP that includes three custom EQ modes, DN15 plays exceptionally impactful bass down to 20Hz.
As the core technology behind Descend’s 3XR Architecture, its passive bass radiators enable the DN15 to play as loud and low as two 18” ported subwoofers without unwanted port noise distortion. Passive radiators also deliver a smooth frequency response like a sealed sub, but with the port-like ability to play louder and lower in a smaller enclosure. What you get is the best of both worlds: louder, clearer bass than a ported sub from a smaller enclosure than a sealed sub.
The DN15’s advanced 1500W peak Class H digital amplifier delivers continuous power to cleanly reproduce sustained bass below 20Hz. With real-time monitoring and adjustments to the sliding rail voltage, the DN15 delivers considerably higher power during short, transient peaks such as bass drum kicks and on-screen artillery blasts.
With three built-in performance EQs modes, the DN15 can be optimized to your room and listening preferences and adjusted to match whatever you’re listening to.
The DN15’s default setting out of the box, Flat Mode provides the most balanced performance, as determined by our acoustic experts, providing the perfect harmony between low-end extension and full spectrum maximum output.
Deep Mode provides additional low-end output but sacrifices some maximum SPL to do so. This makes Deep Mode excellent for music, where frequency range is so critical, so instruments like a pipe organ or an upright bass are fully and evenly reproduced.
The opposite of Deep Mode, Loud Mode sacrifices some low-end output while gaining output in all other frequencies. Loud Mode is excellent for home theatre, to impactfully accentuate explosions and other special audio effects.
The advanced 56-bit Digital Signal Processor (DSP) extends and improves the DN15’s bass response. The DSP tightly monitors and controls the woofer system to prevent distortion and woofer damage at ultra-high volumes with a minimum of audible artifacts.
With breakthrough technologies such as Intelligent Phase Control™, easy settings management with its dedicated remote control, and advanced custom integration capabilities, the DN15 is easily optimized to the specifics of your system.
Intelligent Phase Control™ provides a full 360 degrees of customizable phase adjustment, always centred around the settings of the low-pass filter. This provides the ability to tune the subwoofer for minimal group delay between speakers and a flawless blending experience between your speakers and the subwoofer.
While a single subwoofer can add bass and enhanced realism to any system, it may not provide consistent frequency response throughout the room. When two or more subwoofers are properly employed throughout the room, sound waves disperse more evenly, flattening the frequency response. The result is smoother bass throughout the room, helping to eliminate boomy locations or dead spots.

Please choose carefully as refunds for change of mind would only be accepted with a restocking fee subject to approval. We recommend you carefully choose any products before adding them to your cart and continuing with your order. The restocking fee is 25% if approved.
If any products are delivered damaged, please contact our Customer service Staff as soon as possible. Digital Cinema will organise to have your products returned to Digital Cinema and to arrange for a replacement of your products fast. Damaged products need to be returned in the same condition received by you with all original packaging, accessories and manuals.

Digital Cinema will refund all delivery charges in the event an item has to be returned due to a fault or damage and no replacement items can be found. Delivery refund will only be approved within 14 days of purchase and all original packaging, accessories and manuals are included.

Any Refunds will be made by Digital Cinema using the same method of payment used to make your purchase. Refunds will normally be processed within five (5) days.

Products returned under warranty will be assessed and/or repaired within a reasonable time period. You will be provided with a repair time after the item is assessed. This time may vary due to reasons beyond our or the manufacturer's control, such as parts availability and incorrect fault advice given.
You may be required to pay labour, assessment or freight costs, such as where goods are assessed to have been damaged by misuse or accident, or where the goods are assessed not to be faulty. We will provide you with a cost if this case arrises.
If any electrical goods that you returned may lose settings or user saved preferences during the resetting and rebooting phases in a repair sequence.
